Salty Chakra is provided by Salty Chakra, LLC. For the personal data described in this notice, Salty Chakra, LLC is the data controller — meaning we decide how and why your data is processed.

• Account data — your name, email address, and sign-in credentials, used to create and secure your account (legal basis: performance of our contract with you).
• Closet content — the clothing photos, item details, outfits, and styling conversations you save, used to provide the service, including AI features like photo identification and outfit suggestions (legal basis: performance of our contract with you).
• Support messages — when you contact us, we keep the conversation so we can help you (legal basis: legitimate interests).
• Usage and device data — basic telemetry, device identifiers, and IP address, used for security, fraud prevention, and improving the product (legal basis: legitimate interests).

Payment data (card details, billing address, tax information) is collected and processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record — we never see or store your full card details.

• Service providers — hosting, database, and analytics providers who process data on our behalf under contract.
• Paddle — our Merchant of Record, for the sale of subscriptions, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing.
• Professional advisers — legal and accounting advisers where needed.
• Authorities — where required by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When data is no longer needed — for example after you delete your account — we delete or anonymise it. You can download a backup of your closet and profile at any time from your profile page.

You can delete your entire account — including your login, closet photos, items, outfits, chats, plan records and usage counts — at any time from the profile page in the app, under "Delete my account". Deletion is permanent and removes everything listed there.

If you want some of your data deleted without closing your account — for example specific photos, items, or conversations — email us at thesaltychakra@gmail.com from the address on your account and tell us what you'd like removed. We respond within one month.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email us at thesaltychakra@gmail.com — we respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls that limit who can see what.

We use essential cookies and storage to keep you signed in and make the app work. We do not use advertising cookies. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in.

If we change this notice, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
